Beam Benders are the basic building blocks of a conventional beam delivery system. A mirror located inside a holder is employed to turn the beam at a 90° angle (other angles are also possible). Depending on the particular mirror, beam benders are compatible with CO2, Nd:YAG and Fiber lasers. The mirror holder can also feature water-cooling provisions for use with higher power lasers. Laser Mechanisms provides two basic styles of Beam Benders – a knuckle style for use with the small aperture series and articulated arms, and a block style for the large aperture series. Beam Benders also provide adjustment capability to properly align and steer the laser beam. Interlocked versions are available as a safety feature for when the mirror cap is removed.
