Sagitta High Power

Diode-pumped laser sources
for marking, cutting and trimming.
The Sagitta laser system features a particularly efficient conversion of electrical power into laser output, and thus provides both low power consumption and a smaller cooling system when compared to other lasers of similar power. This high efficiency also permits the pump diode to be run in a low stress condition which enables a 10,000 hour working life without any maintenance requirements.

The pump diode is easily replaced in the field. The laser resonator itself has a beam quality optimized for marking, deep engraving and thin gauge metal cutting.
The laser resonator is designed specifically for marking, engraving and thin gauge cutting application by optimizing beam quality for higher processing power and speed.
The long-term stability of Sagitta laser reaches the requirements for integration into automatic production lines.
Integration into a complete system is extremely simple.
The power supply rack comes complete with hardware features required to be easily interfaced with external components to build a turn-key system. In order to create a laser marking system it is only required to give signals to control the Scanning Head.
Replacing the laser diode module is easy, all you need is an allen wrench.
Sagitta is often used on precision marking components, surgical instruments, tools and ball bearings. Using 100 and 160 mm focal length objectives, Sagitta is able to engrave metals with a very high material removal capacity. The high power density of laser beam combined with the high speed of the scanning head, allows fast, deep engraving on metals.
The beam quality resulting from Datalogic’s design philosophy also makes Sagitta High Power an interesting tool for precision cutting of thin metal sheet, including highly reflective materials such as silver and gold. This can be achieved using the 100 mm focal lens directly, or a special Head to obtain very high power density in the spot. By using an appropriate gas cover, it is also possible to perform jobs on stainless steel and titanium materials with no oxidation. This High Power laser also meets demanding industrial applications in precise trimming on Indium Tin Oxide (ITO).
