Edge Pass Filters - Telecom

EPFs are used in telecommunications applications where wavelength band separation or optical add-drop multiplexing (OADM) is required. Iridian manufactures low-ripple, high-blocking edge pass filters.

Iridian Edge Pass Filters - Telecom Advantage:

Iridian manufactures high performance EPFs that have been described as the best in the world by some of our customers. We are particularly adept at manufacturing edge pass filters with a very sharp transition between the reflect and pass bands while still maintaining very low insertion loss and pass band ripple. Low ripple in the pass band makes these filters suitable to meet the demanding specifications of spectroscopy instruments and telecom environments.

Our EPF product line includes both short pass filters (SPF) and long pass filters (LPF) for a range of wavelengths (UV, visible and NIR – 400 to 2200nm) and for various angles of incidence (AOI). Extra wide wavelength blocking is also available for Iridian EPFs.
