Precision Vertical Slides provide a method for adjusting the height and stand-off of the processing head from the material. The vernier attachment allows for precise and repeatable settings. An air cylinder can also be added to adjust the slide through program control. This method is typically used at the beginning and end of a part cycle, and to facilitate ease of part loading and unloading. The slides are sealed to prevent ingress of debris and to insure smooth, non-binding motion.
