LIEKKI™ Mode Field Adapter Tapers
Passive-12/125-25/250DC-PM-Taper
Passive fiber mode field adapter tapers made in the draw tower are used to connect amplifier stages of different fiber sizes together with low signal losses and high beam quality. Mode field adapter taper fibers can be coiled and packaged in similar ways than other fibers. Mode field adapters up to 40µm core size have been demonstrated to effectively keep the beam quality single-moded.
