Diode lasers from Laserline are available in different versions and output powers up to 6000W, and stand out for their linear focus geometry in comparison to conventional lasers. Three different product ranges with varying power, power density, and focus geometry are available, as are fibre-delivered systems and beam scanning units. Benefits of diode lasers include:
Outstanding efficiency: diode laser efficiency is over 30%, leading to very much reduced operational costs compared to conventional lasers.
Long life: Expected diode lifetimes are in excess of 10,000 hours; and there are no consumables or maintenance requirements.
Compactness: Even the 6kW laser head is only the size of a shoebox, and so integrating with machine tools or process lines is a simple task.
Mobility: unlike traditional laser designs, diode lasers can be relocated anywhere in your facility in a matter of minutes.

LDL Series (100-10000 Watts)
This is the direct laser beam source range, and is available with interchangeable optic configurations to permit varied spot geometries (round or rectangular). Up to a power of 1000W the size of the focus can be less than 0.3mm. Direct beam diode lasers offer superior beam quality, high power output and long working distances. |

LDF Series (100-6000 Watts)
In this range the laser power is carried to the workpiece through a flexible fibre optic cable. For certain robotic or automation requirements this can greatly aid system integration. Up to 1000W can be delivered via a 0.4mm fibre core diameter, and 6000W via a 1mm fibre (0.2 NA). |

LDM Series (90-800 Watts)
Particularly compact and cost efficient modules, ideal for OEM users. The 19" rack includes the diode laser head with fibre coupling unit, power supply and microprocessor controller. Easy to integrate, they are well suited to plastic welding, soldering and micro-welding of metals. |

Dioscan System (100 - 2000 Watts)
The Dioscan couples a diode laser with a high speed galvo-based scanning head, addressable target areas range from 45 x 45mm to 500 x 500mm. This compact system is ideal for processing complex contours without moving the component or the laser head either directly (as photo) or via a fibre optic cable. |
