In the rainfall sander, sand is transported upwards by a constantly rotating paddle wheel. The sand is then passed through a sieve, trickling evenly downwards.

Reflectors and an integrated extraction system avoid a large formation of dust. The machine has two strong interior lights, an extractable drawer for the dirt and a safety foot switch.
