Sisma SWA Series

Mobile Laser Welding for Large Mould Repair

The SISMA SWA 150/300 is a semi-automatic laser welding system developed specifically for the maintenance and repair of large industrial moulds, dies and heavy tooling. Its mobile wheeled design, articulated welding head and advanced software allow operators to repair components that are too large or heavy to move to a conventional laser welding workstation.

Mobile Laser Welding for Large Mould Repair

Designed for Large Mould Repair

The SISMA SWA Series combines the precision of Nd:YAG laser welding with the flexibility of a mobile, semi-automatic workstation. Available in 150 W and 300 W configurations, it features a robust wheeled chassis, articulated welding arm and fibre-optic beam delivery, enabling accurate repairs on large moulds and engineering components directly at the workpiece. Unlike traditional bench-mounted laser welders, the SWA is designed for applications where moulds are too large or heavy to reposition. The advanced software allows operators to create and save welding paths, including arcs, circles and predefined filling routines, while Pulse Shaping, Smart Pulse and excellent beam quality ensure consistent, high-quality welds with minimal heat distortion. Its robust construction and ergonomic controls make it ideal for continuous industrial use in demanding manufacturing environments.

Mobile System

Repair large moulds directly without moving heavy components.

Semi-Automatic

Create, save and repeat complex welding paths with ease.

Industrial Precision

Consistent laser welds with excellent metallurgical quality.

The SISMA SWA 150/300 is engineered for industrial mould repair, die maintenance and heavy tooling refurbishment, making it ideal for manufacturers working with large components that cannot easily be transported to a fixed welding station. Its mobile design and articulated welding head allow operators to access difficult areas while maintaining exceptional welding precision.

Typical applications include injection mould repair, die-casting tools, stamping dies, plastic mould maintenance, precision engineering components and large industrial tooling. The semi-automatic welding functions improve consistency, reduce repair times and help extend the service life of expensive production tools.
