Jasper Micro is a femtosecond fibre laser system designed to deliver advanced capabilities in a remarkably small package, making it an excellent choice for high-precision laser applications.

Jasper Micro guarantees clean pulses shorter than 250 femtoseconds and provides tuning up to 8 picoseconds as standard (with an option for up to 20 picoseconds). The pulse repetition rate can be controlled from single-shot to 20 MHz. This provides significant flexibility for optimising processes across a wide range of materials.
The laser delivers up to 5 μJ pulse energy at repetition rates from single shot to 1.4 MHz. Pulse picker and modulation controls are available using an intuitive GUI, via external commands, or with TTL & analogue inputs. There is also the option for burst mode with Custom Envelope Burst (CEB), allowing you to control the energy of each individual pulse across a burst.
Its compact size means it be easily integrated into any OEM system or laboratory setup. The ultra-small footprint laser head measures 400 x 230 x 116 mm and is passively air-cooled, allowing it to be mounted in any orientation without external cooling requirements.
Superior stability and exceptional beam quality is maintained by Jasper Micro thanks to its all-fibre, SESAM-free design. As with all Jasper lasers, it incorporates Fluence’s extremely robust oscillator, which comes with a 5-year warranty. There is a 2-year warranty on the complete laser system as standard, reflecting its reliability.
The Jasper Micro has been designed to be an industrial solution for micromachining, ophthalmology and 3D printing (2PP) processes. Fluence’s Ultrafast Laser Application Laboratory (ULAL) can demonstrate these capabilities, and conduct sample trials for customer applications to find the optimum process parameters.
