The Flyer and Flyer3D marking heads are an effective solution for specialist machine builders and integrators, the all-digital technology allows faster and more precise marking than ever before, reaching marking speeds of up to 450 characters per second in either static or tracking applications.
Both the Flyer & Flyer3D heads are designed to work with a range of Synrad CO2 lasers from 10 Watts all the way up to 400 Watts.
The Flyer head works using both X and Y galvanometer scanners, these steer the laser beam via a Flat field focusing lens on the work piece creating an indelible mark in to the surface. You can select a number of different focusing lenses to either select the spot size or marking field required.
In contrast the 3Dflyer has a third driven axis to dynamically focus the laser beam and continuously maintain a small spot size whilst marking much larger field sizes allowing you to mark larger products with equal speed and quality.

Both heads operate through WinMarkPro, this allows you to laser mark your products with ease.
You can create simple or complex mark files by importing graphic files, adding text and bar codes, or arranging a combination of objects in the Drawing Editor. WinMark Pro allows users to select from hundreds of stroke or TrueType fonts, and includes a large library of bar code and date code formats. Once your file is created, WinMark Pro is capable of controlling every aspect of the laser marking process, including incrementing serial numbers, changing laser parameters, and interfacing with automated parts handling equipment.
